About Brendan Cassidy 

 

Brendan Cassidy was born in London Ontario, Canada. He attended Western University at King’s College where he obtained his Bachelor of Art with an Hon. Spec. in History and a Minor in Psychology. He also has his Bachelors of Education from Althouse College of Education at Western University.

His artistic ability has been entirely self-taught. Brendan continues to search for challenges to push the limits of his ability with regard to subject matter, medium, and technique.

Brendan currently works as a secondary school visual arts teacher and creates personal art whenever possible. He is the Chief Design Officer of ARKANE APPAREL. His time spent on art includes personal, commissioned, and professional work.

His spare time is spent playing sports, reading, and traveling.

Brendan is keen to arrange his work for viewing in galleries or exhibits.

About His Work 

 

Brendan’s work consists of both physical and digital work.

His physical work has been completed with acrylic, gouache, and oil paints. He has experience creating both pencil and pen illustrations and sketches, as well as exposure to some mixed media artwork. Brendan's work spans various styles and subject matter; including realism, post-impressionism, and abstract work.

Brendan’s digital portfolio began in late 2019. They include diverse subject matter and styles, including still life, landscapes, and portraiture. They reflect his drive to learn new skills, techniques, and tools.

His work as a Chief Design Officer for ARKANE APPAREL began in 2019 and continues today. His work can be seen on their merchandise.
